Emily Nelson

Hi! I’m Emily Nelson, a Leeds Arts University Illustration Graduate!

I’m interested in illustrating characters, people, and concepts, blending together semi-realism and technical skill with abstract ideas.

​

I like to work with a variety of media, including pen and ink, watercolour pencil, and collage, but my favourite medium is, and has always been, digital illustration.

​

My personal aim with emillunelson is for people to feel understood, or simply uplifted, through the creative things I make. Sometimes, this is through emotional works filled with colour and concept... and other times I draw pigeons and strawberries, because I just think they're neat.

​

In my personal life I like video games, listening to a concerningly wide taste of music, and going on walks.
